This notice covers the NordicLifeAutoPublisher personal publishing tool and this information website. The tool is operated by the owner of the Nordic Life channel. It is intended for the owner's use, not for public account registration.

Google and YouTube access

The tool uses YouTube API Services. It requests the youtube.upload and youtube.readonly OAuth scopes to upload videos, confirm channel identity, read video metadata and check processing status. It is configured for the owner's Nordic Life channel. It does not request access to Gmail, contacts or Google Drive.

Data used and why

Video files and publishing metadata, including titles, descriptions, language, audience and visibility settings, are used to publish the requested videos.
Channel and video identifiers, metadata and processing responses are used to confirm the correct destination and the upload result.
File hashes, episode identifiers and local upload records help check package integrity and avoid duplicates.
Plans, transcripts and quality-review evidence are used to review the content before publication.

Where information is stored

The Mac publishing component stores its refresh token in macOS Keychain. Short-lived access tokens are held in process memory. Client configuration is stored in a restricted local configuration file. Delivery files, review evidence, receipt records and an upload-state database are retained on the owner's Mac. Technical records may include local file paths; those records are not published by this website.

The broader content-production workflow also uses ChatGPT and Library to prepare, store and deliver content packages. Therefore the overall workflow is not exclusively local. This public website is hosted through Cloudflare Pages; its hosting provider may process connection and request information under its own policies. The site itself contains no custom analytics, advertising scripts, forms, embedded video player or Google login.

Sharing and publication

The publishing component sends video files, publishing metadata and authorized API requests to Google/YouTube. Plans, review evidence and standalone transcript files are not uploaded by that component. Once a video is published publicly, its audiovisual content and public metadata can be viewed by others on YouTube. The inspected publishing components contain no additional analytics or third-party data-transmission code. This statement does not exclude the separately disclosed content-production and hosting services.

Retention and deletion

The current personal tool has no fixed automatic retention period and no automatic deletion function. The owner manages local delivery files, review records and the upload database, and can remove them from the Mac. Cloud copies and Library files must be managed separately in the relevant service.

Revoking Google access does not automatically delete local records, cloud content copies or previously uploaded YouTube videos. Published videos must be managed or deleted separately through YouTube Studio. This site does not offer a public deletion-request form or promise automated deletion.

Revoke authorization

The owner can remove the application's access from Google Account third-party connections. After access is revoked, a new authorization is needed before the application can make further authorized requests. Locally stored credentials can also be removed by the owner.
